Privacy at Stripchat: How Data Is Handled and Your Rights
Privacy at Stripchat means age verification, clear rules, and a support team that handles requests for access, correction, and deletion. Here's how to submit your request.
Privacy at Stripchat starts with a simple rule: age verification, privacy, and clear community rules protect everyone involved. This page explains how Stripchat handles user data, what rights you have, and how to file a privacy request.
Privacy at Stripchat: the basics
In short: what information is collected depends on how you use Stripchat. Someone who only watches leaves behind less information than someone who books a private show or performs as a model themselves.
Stripchat connects adults by webcam in open public rooms and in private one-on-one conversations. Because real people are visible live, privacy and safety go hand in hand – for viewers just as much as for models. What the platform does for this is summarized under Safety and Privacy.
These principles apply throughout:
- Adults only: Access is reserved for adults; age verification is an integral part of the concept.
- Voluntary: Guests browse live streams for free and decide for themselves when to book a private show.
- Clear rules: The community rules apply to everyone who uses public rooms or private shows.
- Models decide for themselves: Performers design their own shows, prices, and availability – and therefore also what they show.
What information may be collected
The overview below sorts typical categories and helps you phrase your request precisely. It does not replace a statement about your specific account – that you request directly from support.
| Category | Where it arises | What it is needed for |
|---|---|---|
| Account and access data | during registration and sign-in | access to live streams and private shows |
| Age-related information | as part of age verification | protecting those involved and keeping minors out |
| Usage and device data | when watching in a browser or on mobile devices | technical operation and an interface in many languages |
| Communication data | when messaging support | processing your request |
Your rights: access, correction, deletion
You don’t have to be a lawyer to use these rights. A clear message to support is enough – just write what it’s about and which account is affected.
| Right | What you can request | How to proceed |
|---|---|---|
| Access | overview of the data stored for your account | request by email to support |
| Correction | correction of inaccurate information | briefly describe the error and ask for correction |
| Deletion | deletion of the account or the associated data | deletion request by email to support |
| Complaint | review of a specific incident | describe the process and when it happened |

Frequently asked questions about privacy
How do I find out what data is stored for my account?
Through an access request: email support to say you would like information about your account, and include the email address you are registered with. That way the request can be clearly assigned.
Can I request deletion of my account?
Yes. You also make a deletion request by email to support. State clearly that you want your account and the associated data deleted. Support will get back to you with the next steps.
Who is responsible for privacy questions?
Your first point of contact is support, reachable by email and phone at the contact details above. From there, your request is forwarded to the responsible department.
What role does age verification play for privacy?
It is the core of the protection concept: age verification, privacy, and clear community rules protect everyone involved. Anyone who is an adult and accepts the rules moves within a framework that is understandable to everyone.
